EduTalk: Online learning – Trend of the future
In this talk with VnExpress, RMIT Vietnam Executive Dean (Academic \u0026 Students) Professor Rick Bennett and SCD Senior Lecturer Dr Long Nguyen explore the future of online and digitally enhanced learning.
Amidst the complicated developments of the pandemic, an unprecedented situation has formed wherein many activities have moved from facetoface to online.
Education is one of the areas having moved online the earliest, fastest, and most effectively. The concept of online learning has never been as popular as it is now.
In fact, online learning in Vietnamese education no longer seems to be a temporary solution to the pandemic, but is considered an inevitable, longterm trend with an important role in educational practice.
Even when facetoface classes resume, online learning is expected to be a part of future education.
So, what factors are needed to shift from facetoface to online learning? Is there a difference in the level of effectiveness between offline and online learning? How can we ensure quality in online learning? Can a combination of offline and online learning help create new skills for learners? Does online learning stimulate creativity and independent research in teachers and learners?
These questions will be discussed in this talk show, organised by VnExpress, on the topic “Online learning Trend of the future\”.
